DEPOSITS

All appointments require a non-refundable deposit of $50–$150 to reserve your booking. Deposits are applied toward the final cost of your service.

DOES IT HURT?

Most clients are surprised by how gentle the experience feels. Everyone's sensitivity is different, but many people describe the sensation as light scratching or pressure rather than pain.

I often have clients fall asleep in my chair. Creating a calm, supportive environment is just as important to me as creating beautiful results.

WILL YOU NUMB ME?

For cosmetic tattoo procedures performed on the face, a topical numbing agent is used throughout the appointment to help keep you comfortable.

For handpoke tattoos, numbing is typically unnecessary. Handpoke tattooing is generally much gentler than machine tattooing, and most clients find the experience very manageable—some even find it relaxing.

A note for uterus owners: If you have a menstrual cycle, you may notice increased sensitivity during your period or the days leading up to it. If possible, you may prefer to schedule your appointment outside of that window for a more comfortable experience.

PAYMENT

Clarity accepts cash, all major debit and credit cards, and Venmo.

Card payments are processed securely through GlossGenius.

Payment is due at the time of service.

To be respectful of both the artist's time and other clients, a minimum of 72 hours notice is required for any appointment cancellation, rescheduling request, or appointment adjustment.

Clients are permitted one reschedule per appointment. Additional cancellations or rescheduling requests may result in the forfeiture of the booking deposit and may limit future booking opportunities.

Appointment cancellations must be submitted via text or email.

LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened, rescheduled, or canceled and may forfeit their booking deposit.

A no-show is defined as failing to attend a scheduled appointment without providing at least 24 hours notice. No-show appointments will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service total. The card on file must remain valid and available for processing.

Failure to attend scheduled appointments without notice may result in restrictions on future bookings.

All consultations are conducted remotely before your appointment day via phone, text, or email. We'll discuss your goals, answer any questions, and review inspiration photos so you can arrive feeling informed, prepared, and confident.

Every appointment also begins with a personalized in-person consultation to ensure we're aligned on your vision before we get started.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Clients must be 18 years of age or older to book appointments online.

Minors may be eligible for tattoo services in accordance with Indiana state law; however, a parent or legal guardian must contact Clarity directly prior to booking. Valid identification and any required consent documentation will be required at the appointment.

GUESTS & CHILDREN

To maintain a calm and focused environment, guests and children are not permitted during appointments unless previously approved.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Please notify Clarity prior to your appointment of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or skin concerns that may affect your service or healing process.

Clients experiencing illness, infection, or irritation in the treatment area may be required to reschedule.

HEALING & RESULTS

All cosmetic tattoo and freckle tattoo results heal differently depending on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, and individual body chemistry. While every effort is made to achieve the desired result, healed outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Clarity reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a client is determined to be an unsuitable candidate for treatment, arrives under the influence of drugs or alcohol, exhibits inappropriate behavior, or if proceeding with the service is deemed unsafe.
